Geert Linnebank
Mr Linnebank is a non-Executive Director of CO2Benchmark. A journalist and media consultant, Geert Linnebank was Editor-in-Chief of Reuters Group Plc from 2000 to 2006 and Reuters Global Head of Data from 2002 to 2006. He joined that company in Brussels in 1983 as a correspondent covering European Union affairs. Previously, he was a correspondent for AP-Dow Jones. Linnebank is a non-executive director of Independent Television News (ITN) and a Trustee of the Thomson Reuters Foundation, the charitable foundation he chaired prior to the acquisition of Reuters by Thomson in 2008. Linnebank is also a member of the Steering Committee of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at Oxford University, which he helped found. Previously he's held non-executive director positions at financial commentary provided Breakingviews.com, at Asia News International (ANI), the New Delhi-based video and TV news agency, and at Factiva, the business intelligence company owned by Dow Jones. In 2009 he acted as interim CEO of ITN.
Reginald Warlop
Mr Warlop is the MD of CO2Benchmark. Prior to founding the company, he spent 1/3 of his professional career in the energy sector and 2/3 of his career in software and IT. As a controller at Total's largest oil refinery, he participated in industry-wide operational benchmarking. As a MIS project manager, he delivered performance monitoring systems that included real-time emissions data coming from on-stream analysers and from advanced mass reconciliation algorithms. Most recently he was a Product Director in leading internet companies (AOL) and software providers (Vitria). He also worked at Ariadne Capital, advising startups on fund raising.
He holds a Masters in Civil Engineering and Construction from the K.U.Leuven (Belgium) and an MBA from Kellogg, Northwestern University (USA). He is also trained in ISO 14064, the standard for GHG reporting. Having completed a certificate in corporate finance, he is authorised by the FSA in the UK for providing investment advice.
Anne-Isabelle Choueiri
Mrs. Choueiri is Head of Business Development of CO2Benchmark. She has worked in the consulting industry for over 7 years, most recently as a senior project leader at Masaï, a spin-off from Bain & Co. that specialises in cost savings and procurement optimisation. Prior to that, she was a management consultant for Accenture in London, mainly working in the utilities and the high technology industries.
She has extensive international business experience, having lived in 7 countries, and she is fluent in French, English, Spanish and Italian.
Anne-Isabelle holds a post-graduate Diploma in Business Studies from the London School of Economics and a Master in Management from the French “Grande Ecole” EDHEC. She attended the official Carbon Footprint Calculation (Bilan Carbone®) training from ADEME, the French environment and energy management agency.
